Litigation and arbitration; execution and collection
Representing clients before official courts and arbitration panels (national and international) is among the core skills of Amstutz Greuter Attorneys at Law. Our forensically active lawyers are able to draw upon years of experience. The greater part of our involvement in the sphere of litigation and arbitration falls within the following areas of activity
Advice and representation in commercial-law and civil-law litigation before cantonal or national courts
Advice and representation in Swiss and international arbitration and alternative dispute-settlement proceedings as well as in attachment, execution, succession, and bankruptcy proceedings
Advice and representation in proceedings for granting temporary legal protection (precautionary measures)
Advice and representation in administrative and administrative-court proceedings before cantonal and national authorities
Assuming arbitration mandates
For wide-ranging and complex trials or proceedings to do with precautionary measures we form interdisciplinary litigation teams wherever such are required. In international cases or proceedings we work in collaboration with foreign lawyers to discuss matters pertaining to Swiss law. For questions of foreign law we are able to fall back on a tried and tested network of correspondence legal practices abroad. For Swiss clients who find themselves facing litigation abroad, we coordinate representation of their interests by foreign lawyers.
